The transition from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 defense and an offense geared towards running was what Chan Gailey envisioned when he took over as the head man in Buffalo. After beginning the season with a 0-8 mark and being eliminated from the playoffs in Week 12, the thought is still the same. And that thought is bolstered by the teams 92-year old founder and owner Ralph Wilson Jr. "This team amazes me. I guess its because they play hard," he said. "A lot of them were overlooked in the draft. A lot of them were cut by other teams that didnt have enough patience with them. All of those things play into it. So we should be much, much better next year."
Injuries have also been a problem for the Bills. Center Geoff Hangartner will miss his third consecutive start with a knee injury. OLB Chris Kelsay is still recovering from a knee injury and LT Demetrius Bell has been held out of practices due to chronic knee soreness after surgery last season.
The Bills continue to improve each week and have taken to Coach Gailey’s game plan. Get out and support your Buffalo Bills as they continue to build a winning franchise.
